During the operation of the Wind Power Plant Project, a construction barge damaged the cable while driving piles into the sea, resulting in a power loss. The client reached out to OEI for a survey to detect the damage location and to repair the 35kV cable, followed by testing.
OEI arranged for the necessary joint materials and fabricated the joint. OEI then mobilized a diving team and a barge to retrieve the damaged cable, join it, and subsequently buried the cable to a depth of 2 meters.
