Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vietnam – Marking a significant milestone in its journey, Offshore Energy Installation JSC (OEI) announced the arrival of its 330FT barge, OEI Tan Cang 01, at Dong Xuyen Port on 24th December. The barge, boasting a deadweight of 10,000 tons, reached its destination after an almost 10-day towing journey from Batam, Indonesia to Vietnam.
This event signifies a pivotal moment in OEI’s development trajectory. With the addition of this latest barge, OEI is now well-equipped with the necessary transport vehicles, gearing up for the upcoming installation campaigns scheduled for May. This move also underscores OEI’s unwavering commitment to its clientele, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
In line with its vision for continuous improvement, OEI has charted out plans for the barge’s upgrade and modification. These enhancements are slated for March, well in advance of the construction campaigns tailored for nearshore wind farms.
